A3 Saturday 13 soaked 12 not soaked A3 Sunday 26 soaked 24 not soaked A3 Tuesday 36 not soaked 32 soaked | The beans are germinating and growing fast. I think all the rain has speeded things up. I was not able to observe garden yesterday as it was raining heavily. When I went today I could not believe how many have sprouted. Judging by the height and size of some of the beans, some of them must have sprouted yesterday. If anyone has any other data or observation please comment. BLOG QUESTION: Why do you think we did not get the results we expected. What questions could we investigate in the future. A1 Saturday: 30 soaked 17 not soaked A1 Sunday 53 not soaked 55 soaked |

I think we should have planted them on Monday because during the week we could see how much germinates. I also think we should have checked the weather because all of the rain could of killed the soaked bean seeds from to much water.

I think we did not get the results we expected because the amount of water we put in changed from the rain. It also changed from the amount of soil we buried.the questions we could investigate later would be does baking soda help plants grow ?

I think that the soaked got a little to much water because that they had water over night and the week it was raining cat and dog (that mean that it was raining a lot over the week) so that is a little to much water for a bean plant

I thought that soaked would grow better. I thought soaked would grow better then not soaked because I thought that there would be more sun. On 11/12/2013 soaked got 32 and not soaked got 36. The data was 11/8/2013 soaked and not soaked both got 0. 11/9/2013 soaked got 13 not soaked got 12 11/9/2013 soaked and not soaked got somewhere in the 20s. 11/10/2013 they got somewhere farther in the 20s. 11/12/2013 soaked got 32 and not soaked got 36.

I believed the soaked would grow better. I thought it would grow better because plants need water to germinate, and I guessed that soaked would get a better start on it. On 11/9, soaked resulted in 30 while not soaked was 17. At 11/10, soaked was 55 and not soaked was 53. And on 11/12, soaked was 58 and not soaked was 69. If it didn't rain so hard, the results probably would have changed.

I thought soaked would grow the most.Maybe we did not get the results we wanted because maybe the soaked got to much water and they got flooded. The results were that the not soaked won by 69 spouters.

We didn't get the results we expected because there was a big storm with a bunch of raining that may of drowned some of the soaked plants. The reason the soaked plants might've drowned more would probably be that the plants were already soaked enough. More question we could investigate would be:Would the soaked beans grow more if it didn't rain? If we added a few more days to the progress, what would happen?

I think the rain might of put to much water in the soaked beans so it may have caused some plants to die, mold, grow slower or even the birds would mess with the plants. I think the non-soaked beans got just enough water because they were not soaked over night so they might of grew faster than the soaked beans. From what I saw I know the non-soaked beans are growing faster because of the rain. If I to do this experiment again I would check the weather to see if it was ok to plant the seeds so the water control is equal and if we could I would put a roof on top of the seeds and a fence so the birds will not mess with the plants !!

I think we did not get the results we wanted because of the rain. I think that the non-soaked beans got soaked with all the rain. Then the soaked beans were drowned in all of the water. I think we should investigate if plants with a lot of sun and little water will grow healthier than plants with a lot of water and little sun.

1st Question: We didn't get the results that we want it because, of the rain. Non soaked is now higher than soaked, the rain soaked non soaked.

I'd say that they may have got to much water and worm tea because we are not getting the results we wanted. Maybe in the future it wont rain that much.

The non soak was growing faster then the soak. The soak was growing faster then non soak. But then non soak catch up to soak. soak had 58 on 11/13. Non soak had 69 on 11/13. They have growing for each day.

On number 1 Andrew, if it didnt rain as much maybe because if it did not rain it wouldn't grow.

I personally think we could have gotten better results if we planted them on Friday. And the sudden climate change on Tuesday must have made them not grow or the storm maybe drowned them.

I think that if we had soaked the beans even longer they would have grown a little bit bigger .I also think that if we had planted them on a Friday they would grown the same amout of plants at the same time.

1st Question: We got the results we didn't expect because of the weather. There was heavy rain which made some of the beans drown. So, the not-soaked get more sprouts. And also because of the birds. The bids like the bean sprouts, so they eat it. And some of the bean sprouts are gone.

I thought the soaked would have more. Not soaked had more because of rain and soaked had less. That happend because not soaked got water for the first time. Soaked already had water so those beans had to much water so they drowned.
